CHARTER CODE OF CONDUCT FOR
Broxbourne Borough V & E Football
Club

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of Broxbourne Borough V & E Football Club are
to include the development of self-discipline, self-confidence,
physical fitness, good citizenship, and sound character. We seek
to bring our youth and our community closer together through the
means of a common interest in sportsmanship, fair play, and friendship.
We seek to provide a fun, safe and supervised environment for
our young people to learn the proper techniques of football and
cheer. At all times we seek to keep the welfare of the children
first and foremost.
To achieve our objectives, all adults connected
with or who participate in Broxbourne Borough V & E Football
Club must adhere to the following standards of conduct as it pertains
to any interaction with coaches, football players, officials,
board members and staff, and other parents involved in the program.
By registering a child for whom you are the responsible adult,
you agree that you and all other responsible adults associated
with your child, will abide by the Charter Code of Conduct. Please
read the Charter Code of Conduct and acknowledge your agreement
by signing below. Your child will not be considered registered
without a signed acknowledgment.
Players
1. Players will have a good attitude at training and matches
2. Players will turn up for training and matches on time
3. Players will show good sportsmanship and respect at all times
4. Players will shake hands with opponents before and after the
game
5. No jewellery is to be worn by players during training or a
game
6. Players will always wear the correct kit
7. Club kit is only to be worn for matches
8. Players shirts are to be tucked in whilst playing a match
9. Football boots must be clean and in good condition
10. Players must wear shin pads during training and matches
11. No eating or chewing during training or matches
12. No swearing or fighting on or off the field
13. No abuse or racial remark shall be made towards any player,
official or supporter
14. Respect the wishes of your manager and coach
15. Inform the manager or coach when you have an injury.
Parents and Supporters
1. Ensure that your child arrives and is collected on time
2. Display good sportsmanship at all times
3. Stand well back when watching matches - behind the line
4. Do not put pressure on your child especially in matches
5. Always encourage your child, never be negative
6. Only discuss your concerns about training or matches with the
manager in private
7. Inform the manager if there has been a change in your child's
medical condition
8. No swearing at any player, official or supporter
9. No abuse or racial remarks are to be made towards any player,
official or supporter
10. No drinking alcohol during training sessions or matches
11. Ensure that suitable clothing and footwear is worn by your
child
12. Pay your training subs, match fees and annual fees on time
Managers and Coaches
1. Always respect your players
2. Always arrive on time
3. Always have the correct equipment available
4. Always have a First Aid kit available
5. Be available to attend the appropriate training courses
6. Show no favouritism towards players
7. Display good sportsmanship at all times
8. Always be honest with players, parents and guardians
9. No smoking or drinking alcohol whilst in charge of players
10. Be responsible for the behaviour of players, parents and supporters
during training sessions and matches
